First, the tomatoes are skinned to prevent unsightly pieces of skin. The onions and garlic are then peeled and sautéed in olive oil. The entire quantity is now cooked for a long time. Herbs and tomato paste round off the taste. Finally, the now finished tomato sauce is pureed, boiled down and bottled by hand.
